The land math

Twice the cars. Less land.

A conventional garage spends most of its floor on ramps and aisles that people drive through — space that never holds a car. Valee removes the driving entirely, so almost every square metre stores a vehicle. Both plans are drawn to the same engineering standards: 3 × 6 m bays, 7 m two-way ramps and aisles.

Twice the cars, on a smaller plate — about 29 m² per vehicle instead of 76. A conventional garage has to carry a car up a ramp, so it pays for the ramp, the aisle and the headroom on every single level. Valee pays for none of them — which is where the 40–60% land saving comes from.
